Handy Free Program For Web Site Owners
Handy Free Time Saver
Have you ever had the need to find out exactly what a particular color is in a graphic or font that you see online? With all of the web sites that I help with, I often am trying to match a color to an existing logo or trying to figure out a font color to match a color scheme. Just a few days ago I was told about a handy free program that is already proving to be a time saver for me.
Color Cop
The free program is called Color Cop and can be downloaded from here.
Color Cop lets you easily sample any color from what ever you are looking at on the screen.
Simply move the eyedropper to the color you want. A magnifying image helps you make an exact choice.
Color cop then saves the last 7 samples that you took, in case you need to refer back to them.It returns with both the RGB color numbers as well as the hexidecimal ones. Sometimes its the little time saver programs which can be really handy in a pinch. I used to save a graphic to Photoshop and then sample the colors there. Now that I have Colorcop saved as a quick startup program, I have access to it immediately.
