"Thank you for your awesome subscription site! If a person with an online small business can't find the information they looking for on your site, it is my personal opinion that they don't need it.

You have done your homework and came up with a site that will be very helpful for any one in a small online business or thinking about going in business online for themselves.

Thank you!"

Thank you for such a fantastic resource! A subscription to your site has already quickly benefitted me. In particular, your articles and resources are some of the best I have come across.

The price of this membership absolutely can NOT be beat! (Just the excellent bonus software and ebooks you give are worth much more). As good as the bonuses are, its the content and great advice that keeps me coming back.

Soon To Be Released Google Tools To Benefit You

Google's New Tools

Google is not resting on its past successes. You've undoubtably heard about google's gmail that is about to be released. There is even more in the works from this innovative company.

Google is very wisely keeping an eye on the competition, the biggest of which being Microsoft.

Google is taking steps to not only protect themselves but also potentially carve out a big niche in Microsofts territory.

Taking Searches To Another Level

Obviously Google has the edge on search technology. This is what helped them become the very profitable leader in searches online.

They are now creating applications using similar search technology. The only difference is that it is going to be available for you offline.

Think of it as the google search power used for the files on your own computer.

Instead of searching through various folders and files, you can quickly and easily find all related material. For example search for "Italy Vacation" and you could see a list of:

  • photos from your trip
  • your home video
  • emails to your travel agent concerning the trip etc

I am already getting a glimpse of this as I use google's gmail system. It quickly links up related topics without me having to manually sort through them. Its pretty powerful.

Google's nickname for this new application is "Puffer". They will likely be giving away this technology for free in order to get as much wide spread distribution as possible.

They have no problems figuring out how to monetize even free products.

Microsoft's Answer

Don't expect Microsoft to sit back and watch google gain some ground. They are incorporating similar technology in their upcoming "Longhorn" addition to Windows (Win96?) but that is still a year or two away.

A year or two is a long time.

Google has the advantage of being much more agile and can develope applications very quickly.

It is an interesting study of how competing companies try to get the edge over one another as they do business online and off.

In the meantime, you will be able to benefit from this technology which will certainly help simplify using your computer for you.
