I do and it helps create a nice side income to my other projects. There is one aspect to affiliate program promotion however that is so obvious, it slips by a lot of people. They don't give it much thought when deciding which program to join. Here's the problem: With a typical program, a customer is referred by you (through an affiliate link) and then you profit. Nice and simple. One referral, one commission.

Why Settle?
From now on, I am going to focus on promoting recurring affiliate programs whenever possible. Of course the "perfect fit" product or service that you may want to promote might not have a recurring affiliate program. Sometimes you have no choice and have to "settle" for less. For me though, whenever possible I am going to focus on recurring programs only. Automatic money month after month. It just makes sense to me.
